An Airport's Perspective: Using Technology to Stay Relevant in a Competitive Market

How Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is using technology to stay at the forefront in regards to parking for air travelers in the NC/SC vicinity.   Parking is such a large portion of the customer experience for any airport and GSP has the technology in place the streamline the visitor experience.  The presentation outline includes: 1. Introduction: It all starts with parking.  It must be easy, efficient, and cause no delays. 2. Challenges: Unprecedented growth and little room to expand – must get creative. Competition 3 other airports within driving distance. 3. Expansion/Offsite parking: Land acquisition, construction, marketing. Shuttles – time is everything! 4. Use of Technology: Parking Guidance,  Automated Parking, Tiba, LPR, Mobile payment, EV, Uber for Taxis and Rental Cars, Integrations - Partnerships, Complimentary Services, Connectivity, Privacy & Data, 5. Wayfinding: Digital Signage, Occupancy on websites, and Marketing tactics. 6. Lessons Learned/Future Plans

Brittany Moore (Carolina Time)

Brittany Moore, CAPP resides in her hometown of Greenville, SC. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from The University of South Carolina. She later received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Clemson University. For nearly a decade, she began her career working for the City of Greenville. Ending as the Assistant General Manager of Parking Services.  She is currently employed by The Carolina Time and Parking Group as an Account Executive. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband (Josh) and two young sons (Jackson and Harrison). 

 

Ali Clough (Carolina Time)

Ali is an Account Executive for Carolina Time & Parking Group – Burlington Branch. She has worked for Carolina Time & Parking Group for 11 years. She is client-driven with a passion for learning and implementing parking technologies, collaborating with the local operations team to deliver exceptional service, and building strong client relationships. When she is not at CTPG, Ali can be found spending time with her family, crocheting, and deepening her Yoga practice.

 

Cody Bauman (Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport)

Cody Bauman is an accredited airport executive with over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry. Cody holds the position of Director of Properties at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and is responsible for parking, ground transportation, and rental car agreements as well as airline operating agreements and other various revenue generating agreements. Cody has also held various positions at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, KY and the Toledo Express Airport in Toledo, OH. Cody is also a Major in the United States Air Force Air National with over 19 years of service to the country.  


This conference offers up to 7 CAPP Points towards application and the maximum in Program Type 2 for recertification.
